Welcome Back! ~ Janurary 2010

Hey J-Schoolers

Welcome back to Carleton. 2010 will be so much fun! And lots of work…

First off I’d like to apologize for dropping the ball on the website. As many of us did, I got caught up in exams and final assignments in December then wanted nothing to do with school during the break.

But a week in… it’s about time to start things up again. And we’re going to have a busy month!

This Thursday is the first CUSA Council meeting of the new year. It will be held in 2203 Dunton Tower at 6pm. As soon as an agenda becomes available I will post it in the CUSA section. Also, elections for CUSA’s 2010-2011 Council will begin in February. If you’re thinking of running send me an email for more info.

Journalists for Human Rights will be launching their radio program very soon. Check here for more details when they become available.

For those of you applying for grad school… deadlines are coming up! If you’re thinking of working, the job boards outside Elizabeth’s office will be filling up with opportunities soon – don’t forget to take a peak!

And finally if you’re graduating this year the Journalism Society is starting to plan J-Prom. Just in case your high school prom went terribly… you now have a chance to start anew!

Keep checking here for all your j-school info. No more ball dropping on my end.

Cheers,

Allie
